School Improvement Plan

The school improvement plan has originated form the director of CEO Tim McDonald using the LEAD Acronym. As a staff we developed SMART goals for each area of the Acronym LEAD. SMART goals are Specific, Measurable, attainable and relevant and timed.

All staff have worked together to work on these goals in 2016.

 







Learning

To improve literacy results across K-6 by the end of Term 3 2016, typically:

Kindy 60% of students will be able to draw and say the rhyme for the 5 basic Peggy Lego prewriting patterns.

Pre Primary 70% of students will achieve Key Links Level 1 Biggining Foundation Writing goals.

Years 1 80% or more of students will achieve their chronological spelling age or above.

Years 2 85% or more of students will achieve their chronological spelling age or above.

Year 3 65% of students will improve 1 stanine on the PAT-R Comprehension.

Year 4 80% of students will improve 1 stanine on the Pat-R Comprehension.

Year 5 80% of children will improve 1 stanine in Grammar and Punctuation.

Year 6 All students will improve thier spelling, grammar and punctuation accuracy by 10% on the PAT SPG Test.




Engagement

To increase our rating on the SSP Team Work Survey from March to October.




Accountability

Each staff member's SMART goal will be the foundation for a minimum of two 10 minute Learning Partner visits per term.




Discipleship

Each year level will commit to a service learning project throughout the year.


Staff will contribute a minimum of 300 hours to service learning throughout the year, which will be shared regularly with the wider community.
